Beck Arnett (they/them) considers themself a self-taught potter, teacher, arts administrator, nature enthusiast, lover, friend, and very sensitive person based in Hamtramck, MI. They are interested in the therapeutic and communal nature of ceramics, as well as the messy, involved process of working with clay and the never-ending knowledge it has to offer. They hope for the pots that they create to enhance the hums and routines of everyday life, carefully melding function with aesthetic in a playful dance, and continue to develop their personal practice while connecting with other artists and teaching at studios in Metro Detroit.
